Affiliate Disclosure
Last Updated: April 10, 2026
SoloOdds participates in affiliate programs with hardware retailers and mining pools. This page explains how those relationships work and how they affect what you see in the Service.
How Affiliate Links Work
Some links on SoloOdds — including links to mining hardware retailers and mining pools — are affiliate links. When you click one of these links and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. The retailer or pool pays us a referral fee; your price stays the same.
Where Affiliate Links Appear
Affiliate links may appear in the following locations:
- The public calculator page (hardware purchase links next to device specs).
- The dashboard (hardware links in fleet management, pool links in coin rankings).
- Blog posts or educational content on soloodds.io.
- Discord and Telegram bot responses that reference specific hardware or pools.
- Community posts, Reddit threads, or social media content published by SoloOdds.
Wherever an affiliate link appears on soloodds.io, it is accompanied by an inline disclosure such as: “We may earn a commission from purchases made through this link.”
Our Affiliate Partners
As of the last update, our affiliate relationships include:
- Hardware retailers: (In progress)
- Mining pools: Where referral programs exist, we may link to solo mining pools.
This list may change as we add or remove partnerships. We will keep this page updated.
How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Recommendations
They don't. Coin rankings in the calculator and dashboard are generated algorithmically from public blockchain data (difficulty, hashrate, block reward) and market prices (via CoinGecko). No affiliate partner can pay to influence which coin ranks first, which hardware appears in our database, or which alerts you receive.
The hardware database includes devices based on their popularity and relevance to home solo miners, not based on whether we have an affiliate relationship with the retailer that sells them.
If we ever recommend specific hardware or a specific pool in editorial content, we will disclose whether an affiliate relationship exists and ensure the recommendation is based on the product's merits.
Creator and Community Partnerships
If SoloOdds provides free Pro accounts, compensation, or other consideration to content creators (YouTubers, bloggers, community moderators) in exchange for coverage or promotion, both parties are required to disclose the relationship per FTC guidelines. This applies to any sponsored content, product reviews, or promotional posts.
